We set off at 8.30am to drive up to Edinburgh. We got stuck in Biggar for about 40 minutes as the carnival procession had just started!!! But we got to Edinburgh in plenty of time and had a really lovely lunch in a noodle bar (called The Ting Thai Caravan) and then we had coffee and cake just around the corner from the theatre. 'Car Man' was brilliant - we both really enjoyed. Left straight afterwards - it was really cold and everyone was dressed for winter! We got home at about nine o'clock.
