We did our walk today - up the road and over to Arten Gill - quite cold and a little bit of snow and ice around but a lovely walk. Got my second block 'Wings' to do and I've still got my socks to finish!!

Woke up to rain - again - so decided to drive home. Sunny and dry most of the way home and a bit of snow on the hills when we reached home.

We went for a late breakfast at the Bakery (again!) and then spent the afternoon with Mo and Martyn and saw new baby, Matthew with Carly.

A much better day today! We drove to Exeter first of all and had a good look around - sat and ate our lunch by the Cathedral. Then we went on to Exmouth and we both really liked it - it's a lovely place!

More rain showers and a little bit of sunshine today. We went and picked up the ashes and then went to the cemetery. Had a good clean and tidy up around mum's gravestone and planted three little rose bushes - there were already some little daffodils which were flowering so left those. Called in at Gunnislake on the way back to the campsite and took this photo - a Cornish tin miner.

A much better day today - we drove to Paignton (but didn't meet up with Allan!), then to Brixham and then to Dartmouth for lunch.

A horrible day! We drove to Exeter then Okehampton but didn't stop long in either place. This is part of Exeter Cathedral (taken from the cafe in John Lewis!).

Weather a bit better this morning. We drove to Royal William Yard and had a lovely late breakfast in the Bakery - yum! Then went to see Darren and Kelly and Jack, Toni came along too and then Mel, John and Jack - lovely to see them all. Dropped Toni off in town and we headed back to the campsite in wind and rain!!!

It has been the most awful day today. We checked on-line and saw that a 'severe weather warning' has been issued for this area! We've been stuck in the campervan all day waiting for the rain to stop. Luckily we did a bit of shopping yesterday so I cooked a big pan of chilli - just what we needed!

Miserable weather - wet and windy! We met up with Allan in Tavistock and had lunch with him. Didn't hang around too long as the weather was so bad.

We drove down to Devon today - Fraser in the campervan and me in the car. Left home at 9am and arrived at just before 4pm. It was a bit misty and drizzly driving down.

A nice sunny day with a dusting of snow on the hills. We spent most of the morning packing the campervan for our trip to Devon. We went for a stroll this afternoon - just up the road.

We went to Barnard Castle today to visit the Bowes Museum. They have two exhibitions on at the moment which I'm really interested in - Pauline Burbidge's quilting exhibition and Robert Mapplethorpe's photography exhibition.

I've given up on the 'sheepy' socks - I'm just not good at stranded knitting!!! I'm now knitting a pair of 'Glynis' socks from one of my Cookie-A books - much better!
