Called in to see Kate last night - she's got Judith staying with her and we're all off to Yarndale on Saturday. She gave me these threads which she got in an auction lot.

I met Anne in Kirkby Lonsdale and we drove over to Clapham to look around the vintage shop and the yarn shop nextdoor. Shame about the weather - it was cold and drizzly!

Time to head for Roscoff to catch our ferry home. We got there early to had time to have a look around St Pol de Leon and then parked up next to a lovely beach and waited for the ferry to arrive.

In Brittany now - near Poelmer. The campsite is right next to the Nantes-Brest canal so we cycled to Malestroit today and had a very nice lunch!

We left the Dordogne today to drive up to Chantonnay to visit Neil. On the way we passed through the village of La Douze which is covered for paper flowers!

We cycled to Royan today but Fraser kept getting a flat tyre - he had to buy a new inner tube and tyre when we eventually got back to St Palais sur Mer. Still a lovely day though!!
