It has rained all day today! We went to Harrogate this morning - I found Baa Ram Ewe!! So I bought some self-striping yarn and a new sock book by Rachel Coopey. We went to Betty's for tea and cake - yum! We went to the Dentdale Choir concert this evening - still raining!!! These are chocolate rabbits from Betty's.

Went for my walk first thing this morning - it was lovely and bright and sunny and there's still a little bit of snow around. They've started logging at the start of the forest track now.

Woke up to snow this morning! Spent today with Justina at Farfield Mill - lovely relaxing day. We had a look at the three exhibitions and then had lunch. Had another little look around then went back to the cafe for tea and cake! This is a piece of work by Gillian Cooper from her 'Unsung Muses' exhibition.

Another lovely day! We had a bit of hail/snow last night. The poor lambs must have been freezing!! Got on with my cushion cover making today - finished the largest one and nearly finished the next biggest one. Just off to Kendal now - shopping and knitting. Susan phoned this morning.

Another lovely day - even though the weather forecast was bad! I went for my walk first thing then Fraser and I went to the garage to pick his car up. I'm intending to make a start on covering the cushions for the campervan today - we'll see!! Finished Susan's eighth pair of socks last night - will try and get them posted off to her tomorrow.

We had to take Fraser's car into the garage in Sedbergh first thing. It was raining a bit but then the sun came out and it's been a lovely day. I didn't go to the knitting group in Dent today. Been getting on with Susan's socks.

We drove up to Edinburgh today in glorious sunshine and got there just before lunch. We had lunch in a noodle bar and then went to the Festival Theatre to see the Scottish Ballet dance 'A Streetcar Named Desire' and it was brilliant! We had a really lovely day!

Solar eclipse today - but nothing much happened here! It went a bit dull but that was about it!!! I drove into Sedbergh to go to the surgery. Fraser will be home this evening. This is my photo of the eclipse - taken at about 7.45 this morning.

A lovely sunny but frosty morning. Fraser phoned at 6.30am from Oslo so I got up and went for my walk - it was lovely! Went to knitting last night - just Louise S, Kaori and me - nice to see them!

A nice sunny day today. Fraser phoned from Oslo first thing. I've finished my little pleated bag (used a fat quarter Rosie bought me ages ago - knitting sheep!). Off into Kendal later to food shop, then to knitting group. Cheryl has a cold - she's been to EYF (Edinburgh Yarn Festival) this week - so can't wait to hear all about it!

Susan and I went to Skipton today. We bought some fabric in the Skep shop and had a good look around Skipton. We stopped at Embsay Mills on the way home.

We had a little bit of snow overnight but it was raining when we got up and it continued to rain. Susan and I drove to Arnside and it had stopped raining by the time we got there. We had a little look around the gift shops in Arnside then we went and had fish and chips! Very nice! By the time we got home the sun had come out.

Susan's birthday today! First of all we went to Sizergh Barn and had a look around the shop. We then went to the Strickland Arms for lunch then went to Sizergh Castle. The tour of the house was already fully booked so we just had a little walk around the gardens then went and had a cup of tea.

Fraser's birthday today. He phoned me from Norway first thing this morning. It was a lovely sunny, frosty morning until Susan and I set out to drive to Lancaster - then the rain started and it hasn't stopped!! We both bought some fabric in Lancaster and then we went into Kendal and had a late lunch and popped into the wool shop, then home again.

We went for our walk/run first thing morning - still quite a bit of snow around but the path was much easier underfoot. These are the new socks (Hermionie's Everyday Socks) that I've just started. And this is the bag Kate made for me. I'm planning to go into Kendal later on and then on to the knitting group.

I've started a new pair of socks today - really pretty colourful yarn - very cheery! We went to see 'The Second Best Marigold Hotel' last night at the Brewery and had a pizza! The film was fun! It was a bit of a grey day earlier on and we had more snow on and off.

Fraser went for a run up by the church first thing this morning and I walked up there at the same time - then it started to snow quite heavily! It carried on snowing on and off for the rest of the day. I went to the knitting group in Dent but no-on else had turned up.

We had planned to go to the cinema today. We set off and it started snowing so halfway there, we decided to turn back and come home. It was OK first thing this morning when we went for our walk up by the church.
