Two sheep and two lambs walked past our front door this morning!!!! Just getting ready to go into Kendal and planning to go to Caytie's class. Put on 2.5lbs!! (Must have been all that ice-cream.)

Another day at home today. Weather not very good and ended up raining so although I'd planned to go to knitting, I didn't end up going. Got on with tidying my room though!

Caught up with my phone calls today. A lovely sunny day so I did some gardening. Cut down all the old daffodils, planted the trailing fuscias and started sorting out the grass.

Went into Kendal today and had my hair cut - it's been four weeks since I last had it cut! Went to Age Concern (the warehouse) and got this crockery for £2.50. Just getting ready now for our next trip away.

Went for a walk first thing this morning whilst F got on with his jobs. Spent the rest of the day in the garden - my vegetable patch is now ready for planting!

Bought this today in Kendal. Didn't go to my RC class - I had too much to to! Whizzed around Kendal and did my shopping, came home and made a veggie curry. Got the rest of our things ready for going to Coniston tomorrow.

Had a busy day today! Got up and went for my walk, then drove into Kendal. Went to my RC class, then wandered around Kendal all afternoon before going to knitting in the evening. Lovely sunny day.

Met up with Sheila and Janice today and we walked from Storth to Arnside and along the shore. It was a lovely walk and was dry and sunny but a bit cold and windy.

A wet and miserable day today - all day!! I've nearly finished my second dress (a more summery one) - I've just got the hem to do by hand. We watched a DVD this evening - 'Captain Phillips' - it was very good!

At last!! We've got lambs in our field. Saw them when I went for my walk this morning. It was raining first thing then by the time I got back the sun was out and it turned out to be a lovely sunny day. I'm getting on with dress number two!
