Today is Mother's Day so we went to Shropshire to spend the day with Jean, Clint, Gillian and Harry. Lovely weather - we saw this bike race on the road from Ingelton to Hawes.

A funny day today - really hazey and windy but lovely sunshine. Fraser went and got the van and we cleaned it out and got it ready for our next weekend away in a couple of weeks. Then we walked up by the church.

A really miserable day today - it's rained all day and it's very windy. I made my soup, baked a loaf and baked a banana cake. Fraser was late leaving Warrington so didn't get home until 3.30. Allan is home from his latest holiday.

Went into Kendal first thing and had my hair cut - very short!!! Then went to my RC class (lost one pound). Came home and my new fabric had arrived!!

Went for a walk again today up by the church. Had a chat with Kevin first. Came back and got on with my dress - I've almost finished it - I just need to fit the zip. It looks good - just hope it fits me!!!

Raining today. Spent the whole day working on this dress. I got as far as finishing the top half - but I think it may be too small for me!!! Enjoying it though.

Lovely day today - beautiful blue sky and sunshine but a bit cold - still some snow around on the tops. I went for another walk up by the church after Fraser had left and I'd done my chores! Kate called in for a cup of tea and showed me her latest piece of work - very nice! Phoned dad then Susan. Then went to the knitting group at Dent.

We had snow today! We walked up Arten Gill and then back down as it was really cold and we thought it would be easier than going along the top and down the Coal Road.

A wet and cold day today. Went into Kendal (to my RC class - put on half a pound!) and did my shopping. Enjoyed going back to the knitting group last night - I'm back to crocheting squares for a blanket!

we did a very muddy walk today! We started at Leighton Moss and did a circular walk from there. It rained at first then we had beautiful sunshine.
